Privacy at DataCharts.
This closed-beta notice explains what DataCharts processes, why we process it, how long we keep it, and the controls available to workspace owners.
Information we process
We process account identity and authentication data, workspace membership, uploaded datasets and project content, export requests and artifacts, product usage and security logs, support messages, and billing identifiers supplied by Dodo Payments. DataCharts does not receive or store complete payment-card details.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide and secure the service, create requested visualizations and exports, synchronize subscription access, diagnose reliability, respond to support, prevent abuse, and satisfy accounting, security, and legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use customer datasets for advertising.
Sharing and subprocessors
We disclose data only to service providers needed to run DataCharts, when a workspace member explicitly publishes or shares content, or when required by law. Current infrastructure and payment providers are listed on the Subprocessors page. Each provider receives only the data needed for its role.
Retention and deletion
Short-lived export artifacts expire under the product retention policy. Workspace owners may schedule deletion from the Support Center and cancel during the seven-day cooling-off period. Security, billing, dispute, and audit records may be retained where required. Provider backups age out on their normal schedule.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion through the Support Center or privacy contact. Workspace owners control publishing, sharing, membership, billing, and workspace deletion. We verify the requester before acting on account-level requests.
International processing and changes
Our providers may process data in multiple regions subject to contractual and legal safeguards. Material notice changes will be dated and communicated before they take effect where required. This closed-beta notice is effective 17 July 2026 and remains subject to external counsel review before public launch.
